Ventura, CA filmmaker, Josh Landan has put out some really great projects in the past few years. His new offering featuring Timmy Curran riding on a train up and down the California coast, while surfing with his bros is a nice departure from some of the “surf porn” that has been dominating the video scene lately. The movie has some great surfing by Timmy, a furry Malloy brother and the second coming of Jesus, Dane Reynolds. Pick one up.

Coconuts are an amazing fruit. The milk, or water, from young coconuts has some great benefits for those with an active lifestyle. They are a source of potassium, electrolytes,  fiber and as far as I am concerned, magic. O.N.E. Coconut water tastes great & gives your body what it needs. Added bonus – you don’t have to use a machete to open a container of O.N.E.

Dakine Pancho Pro Traction Pad keeps your foot planted on your tail during hot moves and can actually say a lot about your personal steeze. For example, if you have a Rasta colored pad, well, chances are you are in to kind reggae beats or a super irie life style mon. Surf boards are like eggs. they are super strong in one direction and fragile in another. Luckily for everyone with an eps or any type of epoxy board, there is a portable solution other than duck tape or stickers. It’s easy to use, dries quickly and protects any boo boos from letting water into your blade. Remember, do not use any polyurethane ding repair kits with epoxy boards. Picture acid dumped on a styrofoam cooler.

Ok, this thing is friggen awesome.  A little fan forces air into the wet suit from the top down -  cutting your drying time in half. However, if you are one of those people that pee in your wetsuit every time you get in the water, this little fan will not only dry your wetsuit in record time – but will also make a room smell like like a truck stop restroom in August lickety split

Nixon has been mostly known as a watch company for the past 10 years. Recently they have made the jump into headphones. I dig the style of these head-units more than anything else. I don’t know why, but they remind me of those egg-looking chairs that were in that Woody Allen movie, Sleeper.  Man, Woody Allen is a creep.

Um, it’s a cruiser skateboard shaped like a giant 40oz. This either appeals to you, or it doesn’t. Just think how sweet it would be to buy one and then pretend like your pullin’ off dat faurty for your Facebook profile pic!

I am OCD when it comes to the grip tape on my skateboard. I try to keep it as clean as humanly possible. For some reason I think I loose pop or something when I get dirt or dust all over my grip tape. Thank the lord for Grip Gum. Every time I have brought it with me to skateparks or on trips, people clown me for being so weird about wiping down my grip tape all the time, but then end up using the thing just as much. It works, it’s awesome and I’m not OCD – just hyper focused – on dirt.

I spent a hell of a lot of time playing this game when it hit the PS1 back what seems like centuries ago in terms of technical advances in video gaming.  The game is, from what I can tell, a flawless port of the sweet original. It takes a bit to get used to the touch controls, but once you do, you will ignore friends for hours.
