By now, we (people without their heads up their reverse end) all know the deal with hemp. It’s one of the planet’s wonder crops. But for political trade reasons, hemp has been the victim of a smear campaign for decades. IPATH has never been one to shy away from who they are as a skate shoe brand. They are very Irie/Jahfari/Rasta & make no apologies for it.  They embrace the hemp plant and what it can do for everyday life.  Oh, here’s a tidbit for you: tell your mom to google hemp when she tells you there is no way she is buying her child “weed sneakers”.

Skate 3 stands on its own without any faux skateboard peripherals or balance decks or  plastic “dumb-chucks” to swing around the living room. The game has kept it “real” or as real as an animated video game simulating skateboarding on your television can be. The animations are excellent, the game play is unique and the sandbox style gameplay keeps the player entertained for hours. Try not to sprain your fingers.

When the warm months of summer arrive, the water warms up. Occasionally, it gets chilly out there on those marathon sessions. This 1 mm vest is perfect for those occasions. The unique design of the vest keeps it on your body during heavy wave wipeouts and not wrapped around your head like some kind of weird hat.  This is good, because you always want to be able to see those next five waves that are about to break on you because you went on the first wave of the set. Perfect for keeping the wind out & rashes off your chest…at least.

If you don’t like Boba Fett and things that involve Boba Fett then you may want to turn in your penis and hand over your manhood. Yeah, I said that!  Throw this on and go around muttering, “He’s no good to me dead” & “Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold.”  Nerds everywhere will think you’re the cat’s meow…and girls everywhere will ignore you even more.

Sometimes simpler is better. In this day of super-tech vulcanized rubber this and limited edition that, it’s good to see clean lines on a skate shoe. It has all the bells and whistles you need to tre-bomb a 20 set, but doesn’t look like your wearing a snowboard boot in the summer.
