Well, if you were hoping it was just the board…you are way off. However, if you want to look just like Travis Rice in the lift line…the first thing you need to do is buy his board from LibTech. Then go & get his Quiksilver outerwear.

K2 has stepped into the ring this season with a high dollar, high performance, eco-friendly snowboard. K2 is saying it’s the lightest board they have ever made…and quite possibly, the lightest anyone has ever made. That’s all fine and dandy – but, will it nose press a triple kink, stomp a double dipper & does it have double reverse half camber with a power channel running up the middle with a patented magic injected core?

I want to surf like Taj. I would think the first step would be to buy the board that he endorses, right? I assume that’s what the peeps over at Firewire surfboards are thinking. Firewire has been on the futuristic side of surf board manufacturing for a bit now…and it seems that it’s working. Taj won the pipe masters on his Firewire last year.

At this point in surfing, Dane Reynolds could sell a turd with his name on the side and the kids would snatch it up like hot cakes. Lucky for those kids, this new small wave weapon, designed by the second coming of Rick Kane himself, is the hottest thing to hit the sandbar since the boogie board.

When I first started skating, the Santa Cruz logo and the art of Jim Phillips went hand in hand.  SC Surfboards is keeping the 80s alive with a collection of boards that feature such classics as the Robroskopp Mini Face, the Speedwheels Screaming Hand and Jason Jesse’s Sea God Graphic. Now I’m sure that these boards drive down the line and punt with the best of them, but I would buy one of these and hang it like art.
