Nobody likes a cold, damp ass. If you snowboard in the East or the Pacific Northwest, you’re all too familiar with swamp ass from wet snow or rain covered ski lifts. Strap a Hot Buns to your rear end and keep the caboose nice & dry.

Simon is one stylish snowboarder. He has the uncanny ability to make even the hardest rail tricks look easy. So easy in fact that my old ass thinks I can pull the same moves and come out injury free. Drop has dropped a new signature glove for Simon and it’s pretty tight. I really don’t think it will help you snowboard any better, but it will keep your hands stylishly dry.

My friend, Dale, helped start Cappel back when snowboarding was cool. Not to say it’s not cool now, but it’s really less cool now than it used to be. Dale had a rad style on & off the hill that translated into the Cappel brand. It’s good to see Ride resurrected Cappel and are still putting out good-looking winter-proof threads.

I’ve had the Airblaster Ninja suit on the site before. I’ve not had the Ninja suit in flesh tone with stained tighty whiteys, though. This may be the coolest and most socially uncomfortable long underwear I’ve ever dreamed about owning. I’m calling Travis Parker right now.

There just aren’t enough vests in snowboarding these days. Nike thought they would do something about that. Not just a vest, but several different configurations to keep you warm & stylish on the hill.

FourSquare makes great gear. I used to rock their pants a long time ago. Always the best cuts & material. Peter Line helps design their outerwear, which can either be a really good thing or terrible thing, depending on which tortured artist he’s following at the moment.

Being warm & comfortable is the key to having a good time during an outdoor activity. This is really true with snowboarding. Ask anyone who has chosen poorly on a cold day and they will tell you a good base-layer is just as important as a weatherproof jacket. Helly Hansen has been doing it right for years. You can’t go wrong.

ThirtyTwo’s under-layer shirt has the vibe of a certain skateboard magazine. I wonder if the spokesperson of the said skateboard magazine knows his magazine’s logo is being used to sell snowboard under-layering pieces? I don’t know about you, 32, but I wouldn’t want The Phelper coming over to my office to straighten things out.

Everyone loves a puffy jacket. Did I mention they’re warm? The Aero insulated jacket is stylish & clean. Go to Quicksilver’s site and watch me model the Aero’s features and additional pieces of the snow line.

Giving back to core shops is so important during this time of economic crisis. The little ones are those that struggle most. Celtek realizing this, decided to do something special. They went out & gave several shops their own glove models. Pretty cool if you ask me.
