How willing are you to save the planet from carbon doom? If you are just absolutely “going for it,” a bike car is the only way to travel. At the coffee shop I frequent, you are judged by the bicycle you pull up on. Get a Townie with a surf rack and you are instantly a local. Well, maybe not right away, but with the right stickers on the frame, you could easily pass for one.

Golf carts are for golf courses and old folks living in Palm Springs, right? Wrong! There’s a new type of “utility vehicle” on the road these days and they are not your grandma’s golf cart. I want one just so I can be the coolest guy pulling up to my local surf break in the morning. A couple stickers here and there, maybe some fuzzy dice hanging from rear-view mirror (you might have to buy a rear view mirror) and you have instant street cred! Either that, or you’re still a total dork, but now your driving a cool golf, oh my bad, “utility vehicle ” around town.
